Nicholas Kehrwald, student conduct officer, presented “An Analysis of Academic Misconduct Case: Informing a Better Institutional Response” at the 2011 Association for Student Conduct Administration Conference held Feb. 2-5 in St. Petersburg Beach, Fla. The data was from his previous workplace, the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

Vicky Unruh, professor and chair of Spanish and Portuguese, is one of 11 scholars from across the country who will be participating in the 33rd annual Brown Symposium Feb. 23-25 at Southwestern University. Unruh will give a lecture on Latin American and Iberian salons in the early 20th century titled “Walking the Talk: Tertulias and Cultural Activism in Latin America.”

Scott Reinardy's manuscript, "Newspaper journalism in crisis: Burnout on the rise, eroding young journalists’ career commitment," was published in the January issue of Journalism. Reinardy is an assistant professor of journalism.

Megan Kaminski, lecturer in English, presented “Where the Meanings Are: Emotion, Cognition and Poetic Rhetoric” at the Association of Writers and Writing Programs Conference Feb. 4 in Washington, D.C.
