Christopher Anderson, associate professor of business, was a panelist in the plenary session on “International Investments in the Brazilian Real Estate Market” Sept. 17 at the Latin American Real Estate Society annual conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Steve Leisring, associate professor of music, directed the KU Trumpet Ensemble when they traveled to Sydney, Australia, for the International Trumpet Guild Conference this summer. The group performed two world premieres at Sydney’s City Concert Hall.

Stephanie Zelnick, assistant professor of music, will travel this month to perform and lecture at the European Day of Jewish Culture in Novi Sad, Serbia. Additionally, Zelnick will record with the Stark Clarinet Quartet in Rome and perform and teach at the Associazone Vincenzo Bellini in Latina, Italy.

Marc Greenberg, chair and professor Slavic languages and literatures, spoke on "English Only or Engagement with a Multi-Polar World?" at the conference on Modern Directions in Multilingual and Minority Education Sept. 11 at the University of Primorska, Koper, Slovenia.
