STAY CYBER SECURE: October is Cyber Security Awareness Month. KU’s Privacy Office has a site dedicated to keeping confidential information secure at privacy.ku.edu. The site includes policies and procedures, information on identity theft, resources and training for making sure information is secure and a list of best practices. There are also news stories about privacy breaches, privacy security tips and information on HIPAA training. The site even includes tips on the best way to handle private information during office moves or when moving away from the university.
