Volunteers tell KU story at Kansas State Fair

Faculty, staff joined by alumni

Nearly two dozen faculty and staff members volunteered to staff the KU booth at this year’s Kansas State Fair. Volunteers presented visitors with KU goods and answered questions about the university’s mission and service.

KU was also represented by a group of alumni volunteers this year. Charlie Persinger, director of university ceremonies and events, and Heath Peterson, director of Kansas programs with the KU Alumni Association, coordinated the help of faculty, staff and alumni volunteers.
