WRITING HELP ON THE WEB: The KU Writing Center, part of Student Success, has launched the Web site www.writing.ku.edu. The site has helpful information for all kinds of writers, including students, instructors and personal and professional scribes. Visitors to the site can make appointments with the center, access writing guides, get tips on avoiding plagiarism and get online consultations. Those stuck on grammar questions can submit a question to the “Grammar Guru” and receive answers via e-mail. Language tools such as a dictionary and thesaurus are also part of the package to help the KU writer.
