A LIFE ONCE LIVED: Randi Hacker, K-12 outreach coordinator at the Center for East Asian Studies, has published several books but will have her first novel, "Life As I Knew It," published this year. The book tells the story of the changes that occur in the life of 16-year-old Angelina Rossini after her father suffers a stroke and the effects the event has on the relationships with those close to her. While set in a fictional Vermont town, the Jayhawk and Rock Chalk chant both make an appearance.
