The Commission on the Status of Women and the Emily Taylor Women's Resource Center are seeking nominations for outstanding KU women for several awards. The awards, a KU tradition for more than 40 years, honor women students, faculty, staff and alumnae who have enriched and improved the campus community through their service, teaching or involvement. Awards are presented at the University of Kansas Women's Recognition Program at 7:30 p.m. April 4 in the Big 12 Room of Kansas Union.

Awards include: Student Awards - Outstanding International Woman Student, Outstanding Nontraditional Student, Outstanding Woman Student in Athletics, Outstanding Woman Student in Leadership, Outstanding Woman Student in Partnership, Outstanding Woman Student in Community Service and the Sally Mason Outstanding Woman in Biological Sciences Award. Staff, Faculty and Alumnae Awards - Outstanding Woman Educator, Outstanding Woman Staff Member and Women's Hall of Fame.

The recipients of the student awards will receive stipends from the KU Women's Memorial Award fund.

Nomination forms are due by 5 p.m. Feb. 27 and should be delivered or sent by e-mail to the Emily Taylor Women's Resource Center, Room 400, Kansas Union; etwrc@ku.edu.
