School of Pharmacy ranks third in NIH funding

The KU School of Pharmacy ranks third among the nation's best schools for securing funding from the prestigious National Institutes of Health, according to a recent study.

KU's pharmacy school secured more than $16 million in NIH research funding in fiscal year 2005, according to data compiled by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. That amount represents an increase of more than $3 million from the previous year, when the school garnered just over $13 million. Full story.
