The Delta Sigma Phi Colony closed recently due to financial delinquency. The Delta Gamma Chapter was once a fraternity at KU. However, its dates are not recorded. Delta Sigma Phi's attempts to reopen the charter began in 1999. The colonization process began in 2003.

After being put on probation for falling behind on financial obligations, it was given a "financial deadline" to meet, but did not do so.
