Psychology program wins award

The clinical child psychology program at KU has won a national award as the best doctoral training program for students studying clinical child and adolescent psychology for the 2004-05 academic year. The award was given by the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology in Washington, D.C.

KU submitted materials for review by SCCAP last fall. This is the first year SCCAP has given the award.

“ We are gratified by the recognition that, in the short period of our program’s existence, we have been viewed by our peers as providing quality training in research and clinical applications for our students,” said Michael C. Roberts, director of KU’s program and professor of applied behavioral science and psychology.
