Have your say on logo
The university’s integrated marketing plan will take a big step toward
adopting a new unified visual identify for KU on Monday when it reveals finalists
for a new logo.
The finalists will be online at www.ur.ku.edu/marketing starting May
16. Visitors can view the finalists and send comments to the visual
identity committee.
The committee is not changing the Jayhawk mascot or the historic university
seal. Instead, it will recommend to the chancellor a new logo to be used
to establish an umbrella visual identity for the entire university.
Presently,
many versions of K-U letterings are used by different university entities.
