Unflagging support

hancellor Robert Hemenway recently presented the KU flag to members of the Kansas Army National Guard who are being deployed to Iraq. About 150 soldiers of the Guard’s headquarters and headquarters battery, 1st Battalion, 127th Field Artillery, were honored in a departure ceremony July 1 in Topka. The battalion includes a detachment based in Lawrence. R. Steve Dick/University Relations
