Q: How many pounds of dandelions were collected on KU’s first Dandelion Day, April 23, 1941?

A: About 3,400 students and faculty members joined Chancellor Deane Malott and his wife, Eleanor, to collect more than 93,000 pounds of dandelions and debris in just three hours.
