Faculty art to be featured in exhibit
An exhibition March 7 through 12 at the Art and Design Gallery will feature
a diverse range of works by members of the art faculty.
Many professors in KU’s art department have shown in national and
international exhibitions, and they are represented in galleries nationwide.
This exhibition offers an exciting opportunity to see the talent they
bring to KU and will include works in painting, sculpture, drawing, video
installation and printmaking.
Pieces by Professor Emeritus Robert Sudlow, a noted painter who taught
at KU from 1946 to 1988, will be shown in the exhibition, as well as work
by Roger Shimomura, distinguished professor of performance and painting,
who retires this spring.
The show will also include works by:
