KU schools to hold December graduation ceremonies

Several schools at KU will hold December graduation ceremonies for students finishing degrees at the end of the fall semester. The ceremonies are designed to recognize students who are unable to return in the spring for commencement, which will be May 22, 2005.

Five of KU’s 14 professional schools have planned ceremonies:


William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications: 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, in Woodruff Auditorium at the Kansas Union. Reception follows. Call 864-4755.


School of Law: 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, in Woodruff Auditorium at the Kansas Union. Reception follows. Tickets are required. Call 864-4550.


School of Business: 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Lied Center. Tickets are required. Call 864-7574.


School of Engineering: 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, in Woodruff Auditorium at the Kansas Union. Reception follows. Call 864-3881.


College of Liberal Arts and Sciences: 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Lied Center. Tickets required. Call 864-3500.
