Campaign reaches 85 percent of goal
The 2004 United Way campaign so far has collected $197,766.80, which is about 85 percent of its goal for the year.
The KU community is encouraged to make donations before Dec. 31 to
receive a deduction on 2004 taxes.
Donations benefit the United Way of Douglas County, a nonprofit organization
that attempts to develop a network of human services for the community
by funding selected community organizations.
