Social Web-fare: The School of Social Welfare, whose mission statement is to educate students, conduct scholarly inquiry and perform community service, has added an additional tool to meet those goals with up-to-the-date information on its Web site. “For more than 50 years, the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare has linked the long-standing social work tradition of responding to the most vulnerable with dynamic new approaches to the ever-changing face of human need,” the site says. The Web site furthers that mission by offering information not only for students and faculty, but also for professionals and others seeking continuing education.
