AIDS crisis discussed in minicourse

Faculty and staff are invited to participate in a minicourse exploring the history, geography, epidemiology and politics of the international AIDS crisis.


Offered through International Programs, the course will take place on four Thursdays and one Monday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Kansas Union. The minicourse is free and is not for credit. Registration deadline is Oct. 3.


Subjects will include HIV prevention, geographic perspectives, reproductive consequences of political violence and the evolution of HIV therapy.
