Leah Helen Ross
Leah Helen Ross, 72, Bethesda, Md., died Sept. 3. From 1953 to 1956, she was an instructor in English at KU.

Survivors include a daughter, the Rev. Kathryn Tarwater Woodrow of Mount Airy, Md.; a sister; and a grandson.

John Kip Robinson
John Kip Robinson, 61, of Fairfax, Va., died Sept. 4. He was the great-grandson of David Hamilton Robinson, one of the first professors at KU in the 1860s. He was the fourth generation of his family to attend KU, where he received a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences in 1963. He also attended KU law school.

Survivors include his wife, Judith; two sons, John Kip Jr. and Jess Harper; and three daughters, Michelle, Stephanie and Kathleen. Services were held in Burke, Va. Donations may be made to Boy Scout Troop 150 of Annandale, Va., or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America.
