Hispanic heritage celebrated at KU

A celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month is under way at KU with activities that continue through Oct. 15.


Tonight from 7 to 9, the Hispanic American Leadership Organization will sponsor “The Three Amigos with Some of Your Amigos” discussion at the Multicultural Resource Center.


Also this month, activities will include discussion groups and two lectures.


The celebration will culminate with “Dia de Los Muertos Sugar Skulls” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 15 on Wescoe Beach.
