Dinner to honor retirees

This year’s 25th annual classified employee retirement dinner will honor 21 people with a collective 525 years of experience at KU.


The retirement recognition will begin with a reception at 6 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 23, in the All-American Room at the Adams Alumni Center. A dinner will follow at 6:30 p.m.


The event is an opportunity for Chancellor Robert Hemenway and Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor David Shulenburger to show their appreciation for the employees’ service to the university.
