Admissions seeks student information
The Office of Admissions and Scholarships is asking faculty and staff
to provide contact information for current junior high and high school
students so these students can receive important information about KU.
Students in eighth grade and higher will be put on a mailing list. Admissions
and scholarships requests a name, address, phone number, school name,
year in school, e-mail address and academic interest. Call 864-3911 to
add students to the list or complete the form at www.admissions.ku.edu/resources/legacylist.shtml.
Incoming first-year or transfer students with a 3.25 or higher grade-point
average should be encouraged to apply before Jan. 15, 2004. If students
would like scholarship information, they should apply by Nov. 1. The application
is in the KU Viewbook or can be submitted online at www.admissions.ku.edu.
Children of staff and faculty who will be new students at KU in fall 2004
are invited to complete a separate application to be considered for the
Coca-Cola merit-based scholarship. The application can be accessed at
www.ku.edu/~provost/forms/.
The deadline is April 1, 2004.
Current KU students may apply for the Coca-Cola merit-based scholarship
by completing the application at the same Web address.
Priority deadline for current students is June 1, 2004.
