Full steam ahead

 

 

Facilities Operations personnel install and tune a new steam whistle to replace the one that suffered an irreparable crack Jan. 22. Lawrence surgeon Neal Lintecum and his wife, Julie, pledged to cover the cost of the whistle’s manufacture and installation in memory of Neal’s father, Dean. A Cincinnati-based firm forged the new whistle, which was installed April 25.
