KU poster selected for award

The 2002-03 Kansas men’s basketball poster won the award for Best Promotional Poster during the 12th annual NACMA Workshop. The poster, featuring Nick Collison and Kirk Hinrich, was the winner in the category of Budget Over $150,000. The concept and design were a collaboration of the KU marketing office and officials at Callahan Creek Advertising in Lawrence.

Annual salary information delayed

Annual salary notices for faculty and staff will be delayed because of the extended time frames for finalizing salary information this fiscal year. Human Resources will provide annual salary notices as soon as possible. Staff and faculty who will receive a salary increase effective July 20 will see the increase reflected in their Aug. 15 paycheck. Academic year faculty who will receive a salary increase effective Aug. 18 will see the increase reflected in their Sept. 12 paycheck.

Last chance to check phone listing

Campus offices that have sent updates to the Office of University Relations for the administrative pages of the university telephone directory and did not send a representative during the proofreading period have a last chance to check their entries for the 2003-04 edition. Offices may send representatives to University Relations to proofread their sections of the administrative pages of the directory from Monday, July 21, to Friday, July 25. No appointment is needed.
