Student for a day

Chancellor Robert Hemenway takes notes during an art history class on Monday at the Spencer Museum of Art. The chancellor attended the class in place of Caroline “Callie” Knoll, who won the “Chancellor for a Day” drawing during the Student Senate’s voter registration drive last fall. Knoll, a freshman in architecture and urban design from Omaha, Neb., spent her morning at a legislative briefing, followed by a schedule planning meeting with Hemenway’s executive assistant. Knoll then met with the university architect to discuss building plans and visit construction sites on campus. At noon, Knoll and Hemenway met to exchange notes and discuss the morning’s activities.
