This Week In KU History Quiz


Q: At precisely 11 p.m. Dec. 11, 1970, a bomb exploded at KU, injuring three students and causing extensive damage to what building?

A: The bomb tore through Summerfield Hall causing damage next to the main computer room, although it did not impair the university’s $3.5 million GE-643 computer. The culprit has never been caught.
