To get more information about the second annual KU Open House, slated for Saturday, Oct. 5, simply visit the event’s redesigned Web site maintained by University Relations and designed by graphic designer Jeannine Counard.

The site offers a comprehensive “Frequently Asked Questions” section – transportation for people who use wheelchairs, guided tours, food and more – as well as a growing list of activities planned for the big day. The site will be updated frequently as plans are finalized. A few selected highlights include:

  • The Hispanic Heritage Month Parade featuring Kansas City's Marching Cobras and the flags from 100 countries.
  • "Passport to the World" passports for kids
  • The pharmacy school will offer blood pressure screenings, body fat analysis, and bone density, blood glucose and cholesterol screenings.

Many more events are planned. Visit the site today.
