Tuition enhancements boost student hourly wages, advising

Wendy M. Rohleder, pre-law academic adviser in the Freshman/Sophomore Advising Center, counsels C’Nea Hatches, a sophomore in communications from Valparaiso, Ind. The center is slated to receive $116,000 to provide three additional advisers, a secretary and more computers. The change will increase the student-to-adviser ratio, allowing advisers to spend more time with students as they make critical academic decisions. R. Steve Dick/University Relations
