For nearly a century, the KU School of Nursing has been dedicated to preparing students for the challenges that await them upon graduation. Recently, the school has upgraded its Web site to allow visitors to browse through the school’s history, programs, curriculum and news and events.
Through the site, students may complete a virtual orientation or find maps of campus and the surrounding area. They also may read about historical figures or delve into the school’s research.
Founded as the Department of Nursing in 1906, the KU School of Nursing has exemplified its responsiveness to health care needs through its innovative education, nationally recognized research initiatives and professional activities. Located on the KU Medical Center campus in Kansas City, Kan., the KU School of Nursing offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
