Schedule of events

This year, for the first time, KU will provide, in the air-conditioned comfort of the Kansas Union, a live telecast of commencement.

The 128th annual commencement, including the procession down Mount Oread and the conferral of degrees in Memorial Stadium, will be shown in Woodruff Auditorium on the fifth floor of the union. The procession begins at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 21.

The simulcast in Woodruff Auditorium is provided specifically for persons for whom the physical conditions in Memorial Stadium would be a barrier to their attendance at commencement, as well as two or three accompanying family members.

Room capacity is limited to 500 guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
Buses will run from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 21 on a looping route that serves the stadium, the Kansas Union and various parking areas on campus.

For more information about the simulcast, call (785) 864-2620.
