Government documents on the move to Anschutz
KU's Government Documents Library, housed on the 6 th floor of Malott Hall since 1989, will move this month into Anschutz Library.
Government documents material will be shelved on Anschutz levels 2 and 4. The documents reference collection will move to level 3 of Anschutz and become part of the Anschutz Reference Collection.
All current Anschutz collections on levels 2 and 4 will be shifted, with a large part of the science collection being transferred into Anschutz 2 North. Staff who have worked in the Government Documents Library will move to Anschutz.
The University of Kansas Libraries have been a U.S. Federal documents depository since 1869, and have accumulated two million items from the U.S. federal government. Since 1976, they have been the Regional U.S. Federal Depository for the State of Kansas.

Edwards site allows online enrollment

The KU School of Engineer-ing's Department of Engineering Management, located at the Edwards Campus in Overland Park, recently rolled out a new and improved Web site.
Enhancements to the site include online enrollment and online course information for distance education students.
"We hope to add voice streaming or other 'real time' class sessions for our distance education students," said Annette Tetmeyer, engineering management Webmaster and distance education coordinator.
The site contains a broad array of information on topics ranging from admission to faculty pages to links with the registrar's office for schedules and grades, Tetmeyer said.
"We're trying to provide most of the information a student would normally call in to request, in a user-friendly setting," she added.
Tetmeyer said future improvements will facilitate the electronic transfer of data directly to the department's databases and eliminate excess paperwork.
Engineering management's Web site may be seen at Contact Tetmeyer at (913) 897-8578 or
