- For the third year, new and returning KU students will benefit
from Coca-Cola Merit scholarships.
The scholarships are awarded to children of KU faculty and staff.
All incoming freshmen receive $1,000 awards. Returning KU students
receive checks for $1,000, $750, $500 or $250, depending on their
grade-point averages.
To be eligible, students must have a minimum composite ACT score
of 24 and a 2.5 grade-point average, or an ACT score of 21 and
a 3.0 grade-point average. Other requirements include status
as a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in at least 12
credit hours. For a student to be eligible, at least one parent
must be a full-time staff member - classified, unclassified or
faculty.
