KU to name two employees of the year
Ceremony to honor faculty, staff

The university will celebrate the 26th anniversary of its annual employee recognition ceremony this month and announce the classified and unclassified employees of the year.

Chancellor Robert E. Hemenway will speak at the ceremony honoring faculty and staff for their service to KU at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 24, in the Kansas Union ballroom. During the ceremony, the 26th anniversary will be noted and employees with five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service will receive pins.

The classified and unclassified non-teaching employees of the year will each receive $1,000, a trophy, a reserved parking place and a blue-zone parking permit with an entrance pass.
