What that means: As part of the call desk, Cook makes herself accountable to each customer, making the necessary calls to any or all departments to be sure she has the correct answer and always follows up.

Notable: Cook recently worked with a soldier in Iraq who had to walk a mile to a computer station to e-mail KU. In one day, she helped resolve his problems and answer his questions, eliminating the need for a repeat trip.
