Students put the finishing touches on an elaborate Jayhawk chalk drawing on the Wescoe Beach sidewalk. While sidewalk chalking is a year-round campus occurrence, these students were taking part in Chalk-n-Rock, a homecoming tradition.

This fall Edwards Campus staff passed out more than 1,000 reusable canvas bags at the Overland Park Farmer’s Market with the message “My neighborhood KU” imprinted on them. Diana Marrs, right, assist director of instructional development, and her son Adam, front right, shared a complimentary bag with a market patron.

Eaton Hall, a yellow-brick building at the southeast corner of the School of Engineering complex, opened in 2003 and houses the dean's office suite, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, classrooms, labs, offices and a computing commons. It is named for a major donor, alumnus Robert J. Eaton, who retired in 2000 as chairman of DaimlerChrysler AG. For more, visit www.buildings.ku.edu.
