KU's new Points of Distinction Web page is available at www.distinction. The university's top points of distinction are listed, and additional points are listed by category, school and department. Individual units also have statements of purpose, such as this example from the School of Social Welfare: "Ébecause people deserve lives with dignity." The school and department sections also include links to the representative sites for each.
