KU's National Champion basketball team made a triumphant return to campus April 8 with a rally in Memorial Stadium that drew an estimated 25,000 fans. Chancellor Robert Hemenway and Gov. Kathleen Sebelius were among the speakers.

Journalist Lisa Ling spoke April 3 at the Lied Center as part of the SUA Student Lecture Series. Ling is a former co-host of "The View" and was host of The National Geographic Channel's "Explorer."

Former "NBC Nightly News" anchor Tom Brokaw speaks with Jonathan Earle, associate director for programming at the Dole Institute of Politics. Brokaw gave the 2008 Dole Lecture April 10. The visit, dubbed "An Afternoon with Tom Brokaw," was his first to campus since he emceed the dedication of the building in 2003.
