THE POLITICS OF POLITICS: “Interest Group Politics,” edited by Allan Cigler and Burdett Loomis, professors of political science, was recently published in its seventh edition. The book explores the broad range of organized interests in American political life. Original articles in the book address the development of new technology groups, the actions of Washington lobbyists, the impact of foreign lobbies and how groups have adapted to changes in campaign finance laws.
