THE SITE THAT KEEPS ON GIVING: KU Endowment has redesigned its Web site to accommodate the rising interest in online philanthropy. Since the site's online giving capabilities started in 2000, annual contributions have grown from $9,155 the first year to $212,446 in 2006. The new site allows donors to go directly to pages affiliated with schools and units of the university and includes information for parents, students, alumni, faculty and staff, media, corporations and foundations and will include personal testimonials from donors about why they gave to KU.
