IN BUSINESS TO DO BUSINESS: The December issue of the American Society for Training and Development magazine featured an article about the School of Business' programs in China. The article examines KU's MBA students and faculty who take part in school-sponsored language and cultural immersion programs in China.

A 33-year-old transformer malfunctioned early Sept. 15, causing a power outage at Wescoe Hall. The building was closed for the day, and classes were cancelled. The building houses 320 classes per day, and 620 faculty and staff work there. The cost of replacement is estimated at $120,000.
