CURIOUS COLLECTION: Nils Gore, associate professor of architecture and urban planning, maintains a Web site of "wacky packaging products and ephemera" collected from around the world over the past 25 years. The site has images of packaging for products as diverse as popcorn, stick pomade, Tiger Balm and Miraculous Insecticide Chalk. It can be found at

KU HISTORY
In February 1972, a group of women's rights advocates occupied the East Asian studies building. Their purpose was a "means of obtaining the resources to meet the pressing needs of women."
