Patricia Hawley, assistant professor of developmental and social psychology;
Todd Little, professor of psychology; and Philip Rodkin of the University of Illinois, explores aggression as it relates to interpersonal functioning within social groups. The book suggests aggressive behavior can offer opportunities for growth, goal attainment and improvement of social standing. Several chapters focus on adaptation and its relation to aggression from various perspectives.
NOTABLE ALUMS
KU grad Molly T. Laflin was recently named president of the American Academy of Health Behavior. She is the first female president of the organization. Laflin was student body vice president and earned a bachelor's in public relations from KU. She is now a professor at Bowling Green State University.
