Daniel Libeskind, the architect who designed the Freedom Tower, the initial planned project at the site of the World Trade Center, spoke about his work in a lecture at KU recently.

John E. Jones III, the judge in the Dover, Pa., intelligent design in schools case, spoke as part of the Hall Center lecture series about the case and not letting politics influence judgments.

A KU student managed to prompt a red scare in 1937. Don Henry, a Dodge City native, was killed during fighting in Spain with left-wing loyalists against right-wing nationalist rebels led by Gen.
