Calendar of events upgraded

To make the online calendar of events as comprehensive and robust as possible, the offices of Information Services and University Relations have upgraded the current site and established new procedures for entering data.

All university units should designate an employee as their official online calendar administrator. To do that, the employee must go the calendar site, click on "request a user account" on the left navigation bar and follow the directions.

Features include:

  • Events may be marked tentative; they will be visible only to the calendar administrator who entered them.
  • Photographs, PDFs and other documents related to events may be posted and made available for downloading.
  • Calendar administrators will become part of a list-proc to be kept informed of system changes and other information of interest to event planners.

Questions should be directed to Lauren Beatty, calendar editor for University Relations, at 864-8856 or kucalendar@ku.edu.
